LEARNING IN A LOVING CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT
Zoe Brown is our Substitute Teacher for primary grades, Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Ms. Brown has an associate degree with a focus on Early Childhood Education from Northern Virginia Community College. She has 31 years of experience as a Preschool Lead Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, Office Manager of Evangel Christian School, and Mother’s Morning Out Teacher. Ms. Brown has volunteered at a handicapped riding camp, a Vacation Bible School, and as a Children’s Church Teacher.
She is from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She and her husband Kenny have a son, William, in the Eighth grade, and a flour year old daughter, Hanna.
When asked why she chose to teach, she replied, “Children are my passion. It is important to watch them learn, feel loved, and know God loves them. Her favorite part of the day is reading to the younger children and sharing ideas with older children. She added, “I look at each child as an individual and want them to know God made them and loves them. I would encourage parents to partner with your student’s Teacher to help them be successful. It’s important for them to see unity between their parent and their teacher.”
