Music:
Music soothes the soul, and also builds the brain. During her weekly class, our music teacher presents songs, concepts, skills, and performance activities to develop the students’ appreciation of music, music theory, and recital skills. She plans and develops our Christmas program as well as our graduation event.

Physical Education:
Healthy bodies, healthy minds, healthy spirits is the focus of our physical education program. For 60 minutes each week, our teacher leads the students in activities to improve and enhance their physical skills while building confidence and teamwork.

Spanish:
Our kindergarten through third grade students learn Spanish with the option of continuing this language through the eighth grade. Our teacher incorporates speaking, reading and writing skills with hands-on and computer-assisted activities. Spanish culture is incorporated into every lesson with field trips planned for program enrichment.

German:
Beginning in fourth grade, students may choose German for their foreign language. Our German teacher designs her weekly class to introduce vocabulary, conversation and writing skills while integrating German culture. German language field trips are planned to enhance and enrich our students’ learning.

Technology:
Our computer lab is the information technology hub of the school, utilized on a daily basis for instructional classes, foreign language labs, and individual student research. Keyboarding, spreadsheet design, power point presentations and data management skills are developed in our kindergarten through middle school programs.

Art:
Creativity is fostered, while technique is taught in our bi-weekly art class. Students are encouraged to develop their imagination and inspiration as they experience a variety of art mediums and styles. Student projects are displayed throughout the school while our spring Art Show spotlights each student’s art projects from the school year.
