Parent Advisory Board
Our Parent Advisory Board plays a vital role in the support and development of our school. Parent representatives from each classroom meet with Mrs. Bare to plan family events and fundraising opportunities. The Fall Festival, Santa’ Secret Shop, and Annual Book Fair are a few of their projects. The school’s participation in the City of Manassas Christmas Parade is made possible through the board who gather talent and materials in planning and building our float. The monthly Market Day fundraiser is conducted by PAB volunteers.

Parent Meetings
A monthly meeting is conducted to inform our parents of on-going school events and projects, and to showcase a grade level’s music and drama skills. This presentation is the highlight of the meeting and the high point for the students’ and staff planning and performance efforts.

Parent Training Sessions
Prior to the monthly parent meeting, a parent training session is conducted by our teachers who design and lead these sessions based upon parent input. Most recently, trainings have been conducted on the use of our Edline Website, the Saxon Math Program, and Word Study, our developmental spelling program.

Parent Luncheons
Our monthly parent- student luncheon enables us to provide a unique school time activity for each of our students and their parents. Besides enjoying a special menu, the teachers plan informational and fun activities for our guests.
